The deep patina seen in this stately oak chest of drawers is all original, as it was made in the late 1700's. The turned columns, dentil molding, and paneled drawers all add to the handsome lines of this tall chest. Originally made in 3 sections, the lower base was later attached to the bottom 2 drawers by a prior owner, while the upper 2 drawers rest upon it (making the entire piece easier to move/install in 2 sections). This oak chest of drawers is part of our “un-restored” collection and is being sold in "as is, used" original condition; how we found it in Europe. Notice the wear along corners, feet, etc. There is one age related ___ along the top which does not impact the strength or use of the chest in any way. You are welcome to contact us directly if you would like to learn more about this or other items, we will be happy to assist you further.
