This peaceful painting portrays a young woman in long white summer dress, sitting on the edge of a boat in the shallows of a lake. She is watching two men fish off of another boat in the distance. Her mutton sleeve dress, hat with pink ribbon and lady-like grace add to the feminity of this delightful artwork. The canvas is in good condition, the gesso frame shows old repair/glue to inside corners, some nicks and scrapes to gold gilt. Unsigned.
