Antique Rustic Slab Wood Coffee Table With Splay Legs
There is something organic and inviting in the thick wood top of this rustic peg leg coffee table that almost has a "live edge" feel. It is the years of use that have deepened its character, with a wonderful worn patina. Originally it served as a work table as noted in the extreme wear, distress, deep gouges, etc. Even the uneven edges and old cracks, dried wormholes and repair (notice the patch of lighter wood in the top) all add to its rich character. The squared off peg legs are strong, the entire table has been restored and waxed so it is ready for daily use.
