This antique baroque oak chest of drawers from Denmark circa 1760-1780, features a serpentine front, brass hardware and an exceptional matte black painted finish. Made in three parts, the upper case with two drawers rests on the base with squared cabriole legs and another two drawers. The lightly scraped off black paint creates a nice contrast with the natural oak beneath and brings out the carved details. The case is sturdy and all drawers are working well.
