Distinctive and elegant, this English mahogany writing desk has 5 functioning drawers in addition to a unique raised writing/reading surface still covered in green felt. Please enlage photos to appreciate the attractive rich mahogany grain. There is an upper trim that neatly encloses the top portion of the desk with simple spindle corners and it rests on attractive turned legs. As seen in photos, minor nicks, abrassion (to left and right of green writing surface), scratches, wear are age related and do not impact the funtion nor beauty of this lovely desk. A key will be included to use as a pull (aged locks are not functioning).
