Antique landscape oil on canvas painting of horse and rider in a river, next to double arched stone bridge. The artist is Karl Martin Soya-Jensen (1860-1912). The painting is unsigned and mounted in an ornate gilt wood and gesso frame with SOYA JENSEN etched into a brass plaque. The canvas would benefit from stretching, and shows signs of a small, old repair to the top center (refer to photo of back side). Please enlarge and examine close up photos for more details.
