White Painted Gustavian Display Cabinet, Sweden circa 1840-60

This delightful Gustavian display cabinet has both beautiful and functional storage options.
The upper cupboard with glass panes in the two doors and even canted sides allows one to attractively display any collection held within. The configuration of three cabinet doors with traditional diamond motif on the panels creates a base with visual balance to the upper section with glass.
Notice that the center door opens to reveal two drawers and one square "cubbie" with a drop front opening.
At 5.5' tall yet 19" deep, this display cabinet will easily fit and serve in a variety of settings.
The exterior white painted finish is older but not original to the piece; notice in close up photos there is an older layer of gray paint underneath. The interior pale blue was likely later applied as well. The cabinet is constructed of both pine and oak wood.
This display cabinet has been restored, so is strong, stable and ready to be used and enjoyed.
Brass knobs and three keys are included. Keys must be used in corresponding lock; buyer may opt to simply use keys as pulls only.
Any scratches, cracks, dings, or age related separation are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this lovely display cabinet.
Please refer to professional photos for clear understanding of color, condition and details; photo lighting, individual monitor display and home lighting may all impact how item is viewed.
