Pair, Blue Painted Gustavian Chest of Drawers With Black Top, Sweden circa 1860-80

A pair of decorative Gustavian pine chest of drawers with canted fluted side posts with upper carved diamond medallion and dentil molding. All resting on four tapered fluted feet.
The newer, professionally applied layered blue (with soft white undertone) painted finish is perfectly distressed to fit the age and grace of this stunning pair of Gustavian chests. The contrasting black painted top completes the timeless look of this striking pair.
Restored and ready for use, drawers function and open with two brass pulls each.
Any nicks, scratches, cracks, distress etc. are reflective of age and use and do not detract from the function nor elegant appeal of this lovely pair of chests which may also serve as nightstands.
