This remarkable late 19th century doorway surround from Rajasthan in NW India, is covered in the traditional carved geometric and floral designs of the era. The large iron hoops that were used as door hinges remain on the back, which is not carved. As in most architectural doorways, this can be dismantled into easily carried and re-assembled pieces.
