The aged patina on this circa 1900 antique hardwood workbench comes from decades of use. There is a pair of vices, one on each end, with a wood handle and recessed tray where the carpenter would lay his tools and for catching debris. The traditional keyed trestle base allows it to be assembled and taken apart or moved more easily. It has been restored and waxed, so it's strong and ready for use. Work tables such as this make unique console or sofa tables in homes today, and can also be used as a small kitchen island.
