This Italian writing desk circa 1880 is covered with incredible inlays of exotic woods, producing a wonderful presence. The 5 working drawers on the front of the desk are repeated in an outline of decorative inlays on the back of the desk. The top and sides are heavily inlaid with floral designs.
The aged dark red mahogany compliments the clean mid-century style in this free standing desk with locking drawers and original brass pulls. A few unique features are the drawers and drop down cabinet doors on the back.

Antique Danish renaissance Revival table made of oak, circa 1880. The heavily carved apron is flanked by applied masks at each corner while the carved bulbous legs are connected by a molded stretcher. This could be used as a small dining table or as a gentleman or lady's desk.
