It is the elaborate, hand carved details along the legs, table skirt and drawers that draws you to this handsome oak table or library desk. Upon closer examination, it is the date found on the right drawer (as you look at it) of 1653 that is extrordinary. Imagine the individuals who sat, worked, read and ate at this table for over 300 years. While the table cannot tell us its stories, the wear along the oak table top does reveal its age. Solid and stable, this item is part of our “un-restored” collection and is being sold in "as is, used" original condition; how we found it in Europe. You are welcome to contact us directly if you would like to learn more about this or other items, we will be happy to assist you further.
