A serene grove of trees is the setting that welcomes mother and child for a walk in the sunshine in this delightful original oil on canvas painting. Notice the sunlight grazing through the trees, and how the viewers eye is drawn to the white bonnet of the mother and red jacket of her young son. The gold gilt wood frame shows expected areas where the gilt is scraped/rubbed off, some marks and minor separation at corners. Signed FP in lower left corner.
