It is the arched paneled doors, scalloped skirt and diamond detail of the drawers that separate this French oak sideboard apart from others. The bleached finish gives it a fresh and welcoming look for today's modern home and shows off the wonderful grain. The long groove along the top back indicates it likely held an upper plate rack at an earlier point in time. Typical separation of planks (along top), stains, signs of cracks, etc are commensurate with age, please enlarge photos of top, side and front panels for clear understanding. While there is a minimal raised back left corner it does not detract from the aged appeal of this authentic French buffet. This sideboard is solid/stable and ready for use.
