This old work table is a fun find due to the original blue painted finish that still remains and even has splashes of white paint adding character to it. It has aged and distressed over time, revealing an older layer of gray paint and the natural pine base as well (especially around the worn edges). The simple, open "skirt" adds a touch of visual intrigue, while the clean tapered legs create a stable base. The top is one plank of pine which has some age related cracks that do not impact the strengthe nor stability of the table and simply add character, as expected in an authentic antique from the late 1800's. This table is being sold in as is condition, allowing the buyer to cut it down to 30" height for a perfect kitchen or small dining table, keep it rustic as a work or craft table, or finish as you desire.
